Assignment

I really enjoyed working on this assignment. It was very interesting to learn about the food and culture of Mexico and how different it is from our eating styles. We worked well together to produce a very factual and bright PowerPoint about Mexico that would hopefully inform the rest of the class of the great Mexico too! A thing I didn't know was that Mexicans actually eat there biggest meal throughout the day. This is very different to us as we have our biggest meal at night for dinner and usually have a light lunch.

Mars bar slice

This lesson we mars bar slice. First I cut up the butter and mars bars into small pieces so it would be easy to melt. Once it was quite smooth we turned it up to a boil. This thickened the chocolate. We then turned it off so it wouldn't burn. And mixed alot until a smooth consistent texture came. We added the rice bubbles in and mixed it so all of them were coated. Once this was done Sophie had melted the chocolate and we put the rice bubbles in patted them down then the chocolate on top. We then put it in the fridge to set. Once we took it out after 5 mins it was perfect! We cut it up and it tasted really nice!
